Empowered and protected—An International Women’s Day initiative from RAV Foundation.

8th March, the day marked globally as International Women’s Day for the advocacy of equal rights and women's empowerment as the focal point to acknowledge the contribution of women to craft a society sensible and sustainable for women. This day also adds a new milestone in raising awareness among the people. RAV Foundation embraces the opportunity to create an ecosystem and protect women against harassment and physical violence by creating awareness drive themed “Sashakt Nari, Surakshit Nari (Empowered Women, Safe Women)”. The event took place at Plotechnic Chauraha, Lucknow, where volunteers and members of the foundation highlighted the importance of women's safety through training, providing adequate support, and distributing pepper spray for protection against any inevitable physical threat and assault situation.
